Chilca is an adean native plant important to our ecosystem and to our culture. In Ecuador. it’s leafs are used to cure diarrhea and it’s also a very good anti-inflamatory.

The beautiful white-eared Opossom also lives in the Andes. Sadly a lot of people kill this animal because of wrong information. Peoplw think they are some type of rat, on the contrary, opossos are very VERY clean animals, even cleaner than human. Please dont’ kill of hurt them!
